First Day Hike 2020

After a night of partying it was so hard to wake up .I was so happy a friend was willing to join me for the first day hike at Shirley Chisholm State Park.the hike was scheduled to start at 10am so I got there about 9:45am.

My friend was already there and brought his family which lifted my spirits because everyone who promised to join me slept in .After signing in and getting my raffle tickets we set off to hike 3.7 miles.

Oh man it was so cold because the trail was close to the water, and there was just a constant wind blowing I never felt that cold in a long time though I was dressed warm,my hands were freezing in my gloves so I kept them tucked into my pocket most of the hike.

The guide share a lot of history about the park which was great because it was my first time there.everyone got binoculars because there were a lot of birds in the area,I didn’t use mine because my hands were freezing 😊.

Got to see the bike library

Bike library is closed for winter
Morning view was amazing
